This is a HOrrendous idea! Justin Bieber revealed that he wants to star in a remake of Grease AND that he wants Miley Cyrus to be the Sandy to his Danny! He says: “It would be a lot of fun. It’s been talked about a lot over the years but it would be awesome to play Danny. I would go for Miley Cyrus without hesitation. She can sing, dance and act.” “I’d want some great people to star in it. Wouldn’t Susan Boyle make an amazing Principal McGee? We’d just need to write it into the script that she broke into song. I am obsessed with Susan. When I look at her original audition it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would love to include Cheryl Cole as well. Susan Boyle To Launch Her Own Singing Competition
Susan Boyle wants to pay it forward! The singer was an overnight sensation after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent last year and now she wants to pass the baton to someone else by launching a search to help her find a singer to duet on her new album, The Gift . She’s running the competition on her official website and is asking fans to enter the contest by uploading videos of themselves singing Silent Night . She says: “Last year my dream of becoming a recording artist came true after auditioning on Britain’s Got Talent . Since then, I’ve had an absolutely fantastic time. It’s been a real gift to me and now I would like to pass on the gift to someone else…There are a lot of people out there who wouldn’t have the confidence or perhaps the means to enter a big competition like Britain’s Got Talent . So this might be a lot less daunting for some people as they can record the song in the privacy of their own home. I’m hoping that people who have always wanted to sing will give it a try. Next Season On Glee….
You gleeks have a long summer ahead of you without any new Glee . How will you survive?? Perhaps some hints as to what’s to come next season will help you pass the time! Ryan Murphy recently let loose on some of the high points for next season of Glee . Along with some new characters and epic music, he is promising a season finale that will blow the minds of gleeks everywhere! Here’s what Ryan has to say about Season 2: More Musical Tributes : “The Madonna episode was so popular, I think I’m gonna do two tribute episodes — one in the fall and one in the spring — and we’re figuring out who those artists are.” New Characters : Murphy already let it slip that Susan Boyle might be appearing but he and producers are also looking to add some new members to the club, including a boyfriend for Kurt. “I just want him to be an everyday dude,” says Murphy. “And I want him to be sort of struggling [with his sexuality] and Kurt helps him deal with it and in the process they fall for each other.” Also look for a potential love interest for Mercedes and a Carrie Underwood -esque, Christian country singer who will be a rival to Rachel. “When people hear we’re going to do that, they will expect that we’re making fun of her,” says Murphy. “We’re not. The show is about inclusiveness and about giving voices to a lot of people.” A Major Season Finale : “I know that season two ends with Nationals in New York. I don’t know if they’ll make it — we haven’t figured that out.” Sounds pretty amazing to us! Here’s just a few suggestions: We want more Lea Michele, we want J.Lo to work with Susan Boyle in the lunch room, we want Carrie Underwood to play the “Carrie Underwood-esque” character and we want the all Britney Spears tribute episode so bad, we’d pay you to do it. Rumors persist that her career is now being run by family who do not have her best interests at heart. Her brother, Gerry Boyle , says : “Basically, two of Susan’s nieces who had no time for her before Britain’s Got Talent are now controlling her career. She’s living her dream. The downside is that she has to be careful who she’s involved with. She has good days and bad days. She’s under intense pressure now. I don’t think Susan realises just how famous she is.” Sad. Gabourey Sidibe’s mom Alice Tan Ridley, who is a subway singer, has taped her performance in front of the America’s Got Talent judges and says she “was pleased” with the way it turned out. “The judges knew who I was and the audience really supported me, so, I think that I can make it through to the next stage. I’ve been told not to say too much though. People will just have to watch the show to see how I did – I better not say anything else in case I get into trouble!” Gabby’s mom is the front-runner of the competition, with the producers hoping she becomes the next Susan Boyle . She wants to ca$$$h for as long as she can! Susan Boyle ’s upcoming second album is already poised to be 2010’s Christmas Number 1 in the UK and she hasn’t even recorded it yet! Amazon has already received 2 million requests over the past two weeks for her follow-up album and it’s set to become the biggest album pre-order in the website’s history! “We haven’t seen this before,” a source reveals. “It’s seven months ahead of the release and already people are putting in requests for pre-sales. What more is there to know? Susan Boyle is making plans to release an autobiography this year in hopes to inspire others. The Britain’s Got Talent phenom says of her book: “I’m writing this book to try to show that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and I hope it will benefit other people. My story demonstrates that you shouldn’t just look at the label, you should look at the whole person, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually, and I hope that telling it will show that dreams are not impossible, if you’ve got courage and a willingness to go on no matter what the circumstances.” The book titled The Woman I Was Born To Be will be hitting shelves this autumn.
