His restaurants may be folding left and right, but chef Gordon Ramsay has a bright future in TV. Fox announced today that Gordon’s latest culinary competition show, Master Chef, has been picked up for a second season. Calling Gordon an “incredible talent,” Mike Darnell , President of Alternative Entertainment, explained that the show was a big hit with summer viewers and that the Fox family is “happy” to keep Gordon for a bit longer. Congrats Rachel Dratch! It’s A Boy!
Looks like it’s the summer of Former-SNL star births! Rachel Dratch has just announced the recent birth of her son, Eli , only a few weeks after the birth of Amy Poehler and Will Arnett’s son, Abel . Dratch has said that there’s a “crazy story” behind her pregnancy, but she refuses to share the story at this time. We’re curious to hear what this CRAZY story might be. Here are a few of our initial theories: -Just the fact that somebody was willing to get her pregnant -Will Arnett is the father -Rachel Dratch was never pregnant. Amy Poehler had twins, but didn’t realize it. Dratch stole one of the babies from the delivery room -The new Brad Pitt cheating scandal is just the tip of the iceberg. Quincy Jones Got Wino In The Studio!
Imagine how difficult that must have been! It’s been a very, very, VERY long time since Amy Winehouse has released any new music . To be fair, she’s been busy. Whiskey doesn’t drink itself, you know! But Quincy Jones is celebrating his multiple decades creating beautiful music and Amy will be a part of that celebration. With the help of Mark Ronson, Wino recorded a remake of the classic It’s My Party for a special album commemorating all of Qunicy’s past hits. Other artists contributing to the album are Usher , Ludacris , Akon , Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson , Mary J. Blige , T-Pain and LL Cool J. This should be interesting! Angelina Speaks Out On Proposed Quran Burnings!
We’re glad she’s speaking out against something so disgusting and shameful! Angelina Jolie is currently overseas in Pakistan, attempting to bring awareness to the devastation caused by flooding in Pakistan and rally relief efforts, but she took the time today to also shed light on another issue – the disgusting display of hate and bigotry from a Florida church that wants to burn the Quran in ‘honor’ of September 11th! This, of course, is the latest act of bullshiz from Pastor Terry Jones and his psychotic evangelical church, the Dove World Outreach Center. Angie said on the matter: “I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody’s religious book.” Agreed 100%! It’s positively foul. We sincerely hope that someone can prevent these psychos from going through with the act before that kind of hatred is put out into the world. And so sad that people don’t even understand why it’s so awful and wrong. But once again, bb, thanks for addressing yet another serious issue! Such an inspiration! Thoughts?? [ Image via Ramey Pix .]

More Twilight Coming After Breaking Dawn?!?!?!?
A little while back, we announced the mortifying news that the release date was set for the final Twilight movie ever! Now, there MAY be a bit of sparkling light at the end of that bleak, bleak tunnel. Rumors have surfaced about Summit Entertainment looking to adapt Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight novella The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner into a feature film after Breaking Dawn . Here’s what an insider has said about the project: “It goes without saying Summit want to continue this franchise… Tanner is the one they’re looking at post-Breaking Dawn… It’s too early to talk casting, and everything we’re hearing is just speculation or off a wish list, but I don’t believe they plan on using the original actress, Jodelle Ferland, for the spin-off film. It’s all about numbers and names — you guys know that.” All still just a rumor at this point, but we’d be shocked if Summit WASN’T planning to continue the Twilight franchise in as many ways as possible. Aside from Bree Tanner , we’re sure there will be plenty more Twilight to be seen after Breaking Dawn , including director’s cuts, theatrical re-releases, TV spin-offs, toys, games, and perhaps even an amusement park.
