Who doesn’t love the movie Once ? No one, we tell you! No one! Okay, maybe there are some people, but they don’t count! (We kid, we kid.) Anyway, the director-writer of Once , John Carney , is in the midst of getting a new musical project off the ground called Can a Song Save Your Life? He has joined forces with Judd Apatow to produce the flick and together, they have secured the female lead who is poised to sing many of the film’s most important numbers – Scarlett Johansson . The story follows a young singer-songwriter, played by ScarJo, in New York City where she meets an A&R man who has lost his way. The male lead has yet to be cast but rumored contenders include Jim Carrey and Mark Ruffalo . Shooting will begin in the Big Apple next year. Nothing we love more than a good movie musical so here’s hoping John, Judd and Scarlett do us proud! [ Image via WENN .]

Filed under: Lindsay Lohan , Celebrity Justice It’s been thirty-five days since she began her grueling house arrest — and now, Lindsay Lohan is moments away from sweet, sweet freedom. The tracking device placed on Lindsay’s ankle will be removed — probably this morning — and she will be free to roam the streets of Venice — and beyond — as she pleases. Lindsay will then sign a house arrest completion form, which will then be forwarded to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. But Lindsay is not out of the woods.

No, not Megan Fox , though we bet he has more than a few choice adjectives for him also. In a new interview for Details Magazine , Harrison Ford admits that his young Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull costar was a little too flippant when it came to criticizing the film. Back in the day, Shia LaBeouf held no qualms in attributing the flick’s meager reception with Steven Spielberg “dropping the ball” with the movie’s plot. Being of the old school, Harrison didn’t find it very professional that Shia would trash the movie and his director like that and he let the world know it. He explained: “I think I told him he was a f**king idiot. As an actor, I think it’s my obligation to support the film without making a complete ass of myself. Shia is ambitious, attentive, and talented – and he’s learning how to deal with a situation which is very unique and difficult.” We’ll say! Still, we don’t think you need to worry about his big mouth again, Harrison. He’s already seen how that can get an actor kicked right out of franchise as well as how it can stir up some much needed publicity! He’s learning the game alright. And what’s more, she’s supposedly pregnant with her first son!!! According to this week’s In Touch Weekly , Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives Of New Jersey is pregnant with her fifth child. The mag reports that she and her husband Joe Giudice are finally bringing a baby boy into the fold (the couple have four daughters), but the happy news has been overshadowed by the fact that Joe is currently looking at prison time for fraud . Another JOE in the family?! How wonderful! Maybe then Joe Sr. can figure out a way to stay out of jail and be a father to his new bambino! Then again, it could be kind of fun to watching Teresa flipping out, raising five kids all on her own… Nah, we kid, we kid. We want all their legal messes all settled before the baby gets here. That’s what we wish for them, along with a beautiful, healthy baby – with strong arms that can flip tables! Complimenti!!!!

The 42-year-old ex-MTV reality star was arrested on June 19 on suspicion of felony corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant … as first reported by Andrew Blankstein of the L.A. Times. Puck was locked up at the Los Angeles County Men’s Central Jail — where he’s being held on $30,000 bail. Puck is scheduled to face a judge on July 6. Permalink

When penguin Jay injured his left foot he was brought to the New Friends of Bushy Beach center in New Zealand, where they specialize in sick and injured penguins. There they documented his remarkable progress back to mobility on video together with R.Kelly’s inspiring song I Believe I Can Fly — even though penguins are flightless birds. Hmmmm, these brownies smell delicious… Sender-inner Corey Seeman writes; Flapjack is our beagle and we got him a few years ago from the Humane Society after he was found wandering near Ann Arbor. He is a sweet dog, but he is always hungry…always hungry. This is him just thinking about brownies!
